About the Role

The Loan Officer Assistant will work closely with the Loan Officer to support and enhance their productivity by handling a variety of operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include preparing and organizing loan documentation, managing client communications, scheduling appointments and designing/implementing various marketing campaigns. You will also assist in collecting and verifying financial information, ensuring all documents are complete and compliant with regulations. This role offers a clear career path with the goal of becoming a Loan Officer in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years work experience in finance, real estate, sales, or other relevant fields

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in a business related field

  • Must meet National and State licensing requirements

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Prepare, review, and organize loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering questions, providing updates, and gathering necessary information.


  • Manage the Loan Officer's calendar by scheduling client meetings, follow-ups, and other appointments.


  • Assist in collecting and verifying financial information from clients to support loan applications.


  • Ensure all loan documents comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications and related documentation.


  • Regularly update the Loan Officer on the status of loan applications and any issues that may arise.



  • Deliver outstanding customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.


  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities with the goal of transitioning into a Loan Officer role in the future.

Compensation

$40,000-$65,000 Per Year
